I was charmed by the lovely exposed beams in my room, which added character. The warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the Half Moon Inn made it a delightful place to relax, especially for someone seeking a comfortable stay....  

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade pie! The only downside was the noise from the bar when winding down for the night. a lovely stay! 😊

Exceptional food and warm hospitality

I had a wonderful stay in a spacious Double Room that boasted charming decor and a cozy atmosphere. The food was outstanding, particularly the home-cooked meals, and the breakfast kept me fueled for the day with its generous portions. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that my dietary needs were met with great care. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to check on the mattresses for wear as mine felt a bit uneven. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will return again.

The atmosphere was charming with a cozy seating area outside to enjoy drinks in the sun. The food served was top-notch, exceeding my expectations for a village inn.

I loved the ambience at the Half Moon Inn. The cozy pub vibe drew me in right away. My room had exposed beams and a lovely character. Felt welcoming and warm throughout my stay. The staff greeted me with genuine friendliness. I was really impressed by the dinner. The locally-sourced pie was a standout, and the crumble for dessert was delightful. I felt relaxed by the log stove during my meal. Breakfast featured a great selection, but I noticed the service was a bit slow on Sunday morning. the mattress could use a replacement. it felt worn and uneven on one side. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward for showering. Even so, the overall experience was something I would gladly repeat.
